STL Area Prayer

You are welcome and encouraged to join in prayer with other Christians at any of these gatherings in the St. Louis region throughout the year. Please visit the appropriate site for the most current details.

WEEKLY

Gateway House of Prayer – Prayer throughout the week; visit their Prayer Room calendar for latest schedule.

Zion City Church – Meeting for prayer bi-weekly every other Sunday evening from 6-7 p.m. Located at 3961 Iowa Ave, St. Louis, MO 63118.

Tuesdays:
7 a.m.-8 a.m. – Alive Church, 1809 Des Peres Rd., St. Louis, MO 63131.

6 p.m. -7 p.m. – Clayton Community Church, 2501 Rockford Ave, St. Louis, MO 63144.

7 p.m.-9 p.m. – First Love Church, 12523 Missouri Bottom Rd., Hazelwood. Hosts a weekly Bible study followed by an hour of prayer. Call 314-397-6512 for more information.

Thursdays:
Noon-2 p.m. – Grace Church, 2695 Creve Coeur Mill Rd., Maryland Heights, MO 63043.

Saturdays:
5 a.m.-6 a.m. – Ferguson Prayer Furnace Israel Watch – Online Prayer, connection information here. Also check out Facebook or the community calendar above for updates on their weekly in-person prayer schedule.

8 a.m.-9 a.m. – North City Prayer Walk
Meet inside the south entrance to Fairground Park at Vandeventer and Natural Bridge, and dress for the weather. Text 314-582-5885 with keyword “Saturday” to stay connected regarding time or location changes.

8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. – Speak to the City weekly prayer for St. Louis City and area leaders by Zoom. Connection information is available here. Check their Facebook page for information about their quarterly events.


MONTHLY

Our Battle – A monthly time of prayer and strategy for our city and an end to violence in our region. E-mail Eric at savethelou@yahoo.com to be added to the mailing list for our next meeting date and location.


QUARTERLY/PERIODICALLY

Civil Righteousness – Hosts a variety of prayer events throughout the year, such as Pray on MLK.

ANNUALLY

March:
Pray for the Lou – Started on 3.14 in 2020, PFTL has grown from a city-wide to area-wide move of prayer. In 2023, they are also planning “Nothing Impossible Week” for June 5-11.

First Thursday of May:
National Day of Prayer – Opportunity to pray with local leaders at many area city halls.

July:
Unity in the Lou – A Revelation 7:9 based prayer and worship rally hosted by St. Louis Reconciliation Network.

September/October:
10 Days of Prayer: St. Louis – That’s us! Our annual timing varies from late summer to early fall, usually in conjunction with Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement).

Unity Sunday –  Hosted by North County Pastors’ Group, this is an annual time of prayer and worship bringing together several North County churches to promote Christ-centered unity and relationships, especially between predominantly black and predominantly white congregations.


ONGOING

Perpetual Prayer Vigil – An ongoing, around the clock prayer vigil in which participants sign up to pray for an hour daily (or nightly).
