In 2022, we prayed together from the book of Ephesians. Gatherings again included locations in St. Charles County, Metro-East Illinois, and North, South and Central St. Louis County. This year also included a special youth night and a time of prayer and worship under a tent in Forest Park.
2022 Prayer Guide
This year’s prayer guide, “Living Ephesians Today,” encouraged us to SIT in our position in Christ (Ephesians 1-3), WALK in our life in the world (Ephesians 4:1-6:9) and STAND in our attitude toward the enemy (Ephesians 6:10-24). This guide was made available in Spanish as well.
Our schedule, locations and themes for each day can be viewed below.
Day 1 – Sunday, September 25
Join us in St. Charles for a time of corporate and small group prayer at Eco Park on North 2nd Street! Bring a lawn chair or a blanket.
Theme: IDENTITY – Ephesians 1:1-23. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.”
Location: Eco Park, 1802 N. 2nd St., St Charles, MO 63301. Parking available at Calvary Church St. Charles, 1701 N 2nd St. (Calvary will also serve as the location in case of inclement weather.)

Day 2 – Monday, September 26
We’ll meet in South City at St. John the Baptist Catholic church; in the Parish building to the left behind the church.
Theme: GRACE – Ephesians 2:1-10. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works . . .”
Day 3 – Tuesday, September 27
Join us in Belleville, Illinois as we pray with local pastors and leaders, followed by light refreshments.
Theme: PEACE – Ephesians 2:11-3:13. “He [Christ] himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility . . . that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace.”
Day 4 – Wednesday, September 28
On Day 4, we will meet at St. Paul’s Evangelical Church as we pray regarding being filled with the fullness of God, followed by light refreshments.
Theme: FILLED – Ephesians 3:14-21. “. . . and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
Day 5 – Thursday, September 29
Join us at St. Paul’s Evangelical Church for Day 5 as we pray that we maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, followed by light refreshments.
Theme: UNITY – Ephesians 4:1-16. “I [Paul] . . . urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called . . . eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.“
Day 6 – Friday, September 30
Gateway Legacy Christian Academy and The Fire Nest invite you to GLO-UP Youth Night!
Theme: LIGHT – Ephesians 4:17-24; 5:3-14. “For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.“
Day 7 – Saturday, October 1
10 Days of Prayer joins Awaken the Lou from 3PM-5PM in Forest Park! Bring your own chairs and outdoor gear. All are welcome to come early for additional prayer and worship sets from 7AM-7PM, hosted by local assemblies and ministries.
Theme: LOVE – Ephesians 4:25-5:2. “And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
Day 8 – Sunday, October 2
Please join North County Pastors Group for their Unity Sunday prayer and worship service at 1:30PM.
Registration required for lunch only. Masks optional for the lunch and service.
Theme: WISDOM – Ephesians 5:15-6:9. “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise.”
Day 9 – Monday, October 3
We are thankful for God’s power! Join us at Gateway House of Prayer for worship and prayer.
Theme: POWER – Ephesians 6:10-17. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might . . . Take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.”
Day 10 – Tuesday, October 4
Gateway House of Prayer hosts the theme of “Spirit”, bringing us together for the final night of 10 Days of Prayer.
Theme: SPIRIT – Ephesians 6:18-23. “Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.”
